After Supreme Court says about the students appearing in the compartment exam 2020, it was informed by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) that the Class 12 Compartment Exam Result (CBSE) will be announced by October 10, 2020. Students can get their results on the official website of CBSE – cbse.nic.in.
University Grants Commission (UGC), along with CBSE were advised by the Supreme Court that the careers of the students appearing in the Compartment Exam should not be risked.
As the compartment exams were delayed, UGC appealed to extend the deadlines of the admissions, following which, UGC announced that the admission processes should be done by this October 31 for colleges.
The bench in which all these pieces information was shared was headed by Justice AM Khanwilkar. Advocates of both CBSE and UGC were also present on the bench.
A meeting of CBSE and UGC is going to be scheduled for the result announcement of compartment exam CBSE 2020, according to Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, the Union Minister of Education.
In the light of ‘these exceptional times’, Supreme Court advised CBSE to declare the Compartment results soon. And, UGC was told to make sure that the admission process in colleges goes well.
Around two lakh students will be appearing in the compartment exams of this year. CBSE has already begun the compartment exams of Classes 10 and 12 from September 22.
On September 28, compartment exams of Class 10 will be over. and Class 12 compartment exams will end on September 29. Compartment exams for both the classes, i.e. Class 10 and 12, will be conducted in only one shift which is from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.
The students appearing in the exams will have their compartment practicals by the date of September 28, 2020.
For Class 10, the only compartment exam is on the subject, Social Science. On the other hand, Class 12 has many subjects for this which include Political Science, History, Physics, Biology, and Accountancy.
UGC will ensure that the admission process gets completed by October 31, 2020; and the colleges should start their classes of First-Year from November 1, 2020.
Despite the fact that the compartment exams were delayed, now CBSE and UGC, both seem to work more cautiously from now on. It is expected that no carelessness comes up in the future.
